Welcome to ByteTechnic. By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General

ByteTechnic provides physical products including 3D printed items and print-on-demand merchandise. By using this website, you agree to comply with these terms.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Products and Services

2.1 3D Printed Products (In-House)

All 3D printed products are manufactured by ByteTechnic. Due to the nature of 3D printing:

  • Minor imperfections may occur (layer lines, slight variations, etc.)
  • Colours and finishes may vary slightly from images
  • Products are made to order unless otherwise stated

These characteristics are considered normal and are not defects.

2.2 Print-on-Demand Products

Some products (e.g. apparel) are fulfilled by third-party providers.

  • These items are produced and shipped by external partners
  • Production and shipping times may differ from in-house products
  • Orders may arrive in separate packages
2.3 Custom Orders

Custom 3D prints are created based on customer specifications.

  • Once a custom order is confirmed and production has begun, it cannot be cancelled, refunded, or returned
  • It is the customer's responsibility to ensure all specifications are correct before confirming the order

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in AUD (Australian Dollars).
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without notice.
Payment must be made in full at checkout before an order is processed.

4. Shipping

We currently ship within Australia only.

4.1 Processing Times
3D printed items: Typically 2–5 business days
Print-on-demand items: Typically 2–14 business days after fulfillment

4.2 Shipping Times
Estimated delivery times are provided as a guideline only and may vary depending on location, carrier delays, or peak periods.

4.3 Split Shipments
Orders containing multiple product types may be shipped separately and may arrive at different times.

5. Returns and Refunds

5.1 Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds or returns for:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect selection by the customer

5.2 Custom Products
Custom 3D printed items are non-refundable and non-returnable due to their personalised nature.

5.3 Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide clear photos of the issue

We will assess the issue and provide a suitable resolution. Resolutions may include:

  • Replacement
  • Repair
  • Refund (where applicable)

5.4 Print-on-Demand Items
Print-on-demand items are fulfilled by third-party providers.

  • Returns and refunds are subject to the provider’s policies
  • We will assist in resolving issues, however final outcomes may depend on the supplier

6. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Under the ACL:

  • You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure
  • You are entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure

ByteTechnic will comply with all obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Order Issues

If there are any issues with your order, please contact us via our support email listed on the website.
We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Product Use and Liability

All products are intended for general use only.

ByteTechnic is not liable for:

  • Improper use of products
  • Damage caused by misuse or modification
  • Indirect or consequential damages

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including branding, images, and designs, is the property of ByteTechnic unless otherwise stated.
Products may not be copied, reproduced, or resold without permission.
